  • Incorporate the increased connection stiffness of the SidePlate System into your global steel frame computer model, with assistance provided as necessary from SidePlate, and size all steel moment frame members using the increased connection stiffness of the SidePlate System.
  • E-mail the final ETABS, RAM or SAP2000 computer model input file(s) to SidePlate (solutions@sideplate.com) for us to design all your lateral load resisting connections. If your computer program differs from those just mentioned, send via fax to SidePlate all frame elevations showing beam and column sizes, spans and story heights.
  
  
  Once we have your project information, the following will occur:
  
  
  • SidePlate will e-mail back to you final connection details, schedules and construction notes. Incorporate SidePlate's connection design and construction notes into your structural design drawings.
  • Upon your acceptance of SidePlate's analysis and your decision to use the SidePlate™ connection technology on your project, a License and Professional Services Agreement will be entered into with the engineer. SidePlate's License Fee may be paid by either the owner or architect as an additional service provision or, alternatively, paid as part of the Contractor's bid price for the project.
